CLEANUPS
OCEAN PATROL actively organize beach, coastal and underwater cleanups to combat ocean pollution and protect marine ecosystems. Our cleanups focus on removing plastics, fishing gear, and other waste that washes ashore, directly reducing the environmental impact on coastal communities and biodiversity. We believe in hands-on action to restore the beauty and health of our beaches while involving the local community in conservation efforts.
SEPARATION & SORTING
After each cleanup, the collected materials are meticulously separated and sorted. This crucial step ensures that recyclable items are directed to the appropriate facilities, reducing the amount of waste sent to landfills. By classifying trash according to material type, we gain a deeper understanding of the pollution sources and help optimize recycling processes, making our efforts more effective and sustainable.
RECYCLING & UPCYCLING
We aim to give a second life to the waste collected. Partnering with recycling centers and promoting upcycling initiatives, we transform discarded fishing nets, ropes, and plastics into useful products & arts. These materials, once harmful to marine life, are repurposed into items like bags, carpets, plant hangers and community goods. Through this process, we reduce environmental harm and contribute to the circular economy, showing that waste can become a valuable resource.
WORKSHOPS & EVENTS
