PROTECT BALEAL-NORTE BEACH WITH 1 CLICK

The Baleal area is one of the most striking natural treasures on the Portuguese coast. Between dunes, cliffs, and the Atlantic Ocean, this landscape is not just a beautiful setting—it is a delicate ecosystem, full of important species that depend on its environmental quality to survive.

Due to its north-facing geographical exposure, the beach is renewed with each tide, revealing the ocean's vulnerability to marine pollution, especially plastic pollution. As it is not a concessioned beach, it is not cleaned by municipal services throughout the year, making it a hotspot for waste accumulation.
